Our Platform is a space where children and teens participate in activities to share their views. It’s important that children feel safe and respected during these activities.
Participation can be fun and rewarding for children to learn new skills, develop their confidence and have a role shaping their future. However, participation can involve some risks.
When children share their problems and how they solve them, they may face humiliation or bullying from other children or adults. That is why we have a safeguarding framework to make sure that everyone on the Platform, both children and adults, are safe and treated with respect and understanding.
We also have two experienced child protection officers who support the Platform's in-person and on-line activities and manage a process to address any safeguarding concerns.
