Membership Benefits

As a member, your organisation can access a variety of activities to help empower children and make their voices heard within the EU.

Engaging and impactful activities

From workshops where everyone helps create ideas to seeing how democracy works, the Platform organises activities involving member organisations.

Child members can join these creative activities to share their views, meet EU decision-makers, and get hands-on experience on how the EU works.

Check out the photo gallery for some activity highlights.

EU level advocacy

Our Platform works to give children a voice in the European Union through online and in-person meetings, workshops, consultations and dedicated specialist teams.

Children can share their ideas on important issues and help shape the Platform’s approaches and activities.

This allows children to not only influence EU policy decisions but contribute to how we work and the future direction of the Platform.

The specialist teams of children who work with us more closely include:

Visibility and value for your organisation

Joining the Platform allows your organisation to take part in important EU level events and consultations to share your children’s voices on issues that matter to them.

All member organisations will have a dedicated member page on our public website to highlight their work, and there will be possibilities to share news on regional or EU level initiatives, activities, and reports etc., through our news feed and quarterly newsletter.

Child members who take on active roles in the Platform’s work (such as the Children’s Panel or the Advisory Board) will receive formal recognition from the European Commission, in addition to useful life skills and knowledge about the EU and policy making.
