Every child and young person has the right to feel safe, heard, and free to be themselves. Jericho is a campaign supported by our member organisation, the European Centre of Studies and Initiatives (CESIE), to help young people recognise risky situations and learn how to protect themselves.
What is the Jericho campaign?
Co-funded by the European Union, the campaign ran throughout November 2024. It raises awareness about child exploitation and the risks of places like the internet and social media. The project produced creative content for children and adults to raise awareness about this serious issue:
- Web series: Short episodes that show how to detect tricky situations and where to get help.
- Informative videos: Simple tools for children, teens, and adults to understand their rights and how to create a safer world.
- Podcast: Inspiring stories, expert advice, and easy tips available in Italian, French, and Greek.
Everything is made to help people learn, reflect, and build a strong safety network for young people.
