We want to hear from children and teens about social inclusion

Body

We want to hear from children and teens under the age of 18 who are citizens or live in the European Union. Fill in the online survey on poverty and social inclusion before 8 December 2025 and make sure your voice is heard!

What is the survey about?

The European Union wants all children and teenagers to have happy and healthy lives, and some children need extra support.

To help with this, each country has a plan and they work to ensure all children have access to things like education, healthcare, and proper housing. So that everyone has an equal chance in life!

Because we are trying to help children and teens, it is important that we hear from you. The survey asks how you think things are working in your country. It includes questions on poverty, fairness, inclusion and availability of support and help for those who need it.

Who can take part?

Children and teenagers who:

  • Are 17 years old or younger
  • Live in the EU or are EU citizens living abroad

Note to Platform member organisations:

  • If you want to organise focus groups or interviews with the children of your organisation, please contact the Platform Secretariat at: cpp@icf.com
  • They can provide the topic guides, consent forms, and feedback and reporting templates in all EU languages

How does the survey work?

  • It will take about 15 minutes to complete
  • It is available in all EU languages: click on the link below and choose your language
  • You can do it on your own or ask a trusted adult to help (like a parent, carer or teacher)
  • You can skip questions and only answer the ones you want to answer
  • Closing date: 8 December 2025

What will happen to your answers?

We have an EU-wide plan called the European Child Guarantee, which gives guidelines and support to the EU countries to help children get access to what they need. Your opinions, together with input from adults of all the countries, will be used to review this Guarantee, and improve the plans.

A summary of the results of the survey and any changes made to the Guarantee will be published on this website so you can see how your input has been used.

If you need to talk to someone about how you are feeling, please speak to a trusted adult or call a helpline for children in your country. They can get you the help and support you need.
