Teemme yhteistyötä lasten ja teini-ikäisten nuorten kanssa, jotta heidän äänensä saataisiin paremmin kuuluviin EU:n päätöksenteossa. Tätä työtä ohjaavat suunnitelmat ja strategiat laaditaan yhdessä lasten ja nuorten kanssa.
EU:n lasten osallistumisfoorumin toisessa työsuunnitelmassa esitetään aiheet, joita käsittelemme yhdessä lasten kanssa kaudella 2025–2026. Aiheet on valittu Euroopan komission toimintapolitiikan painopisteitä mukaillen, jotta lasten mielipiteet voidaan ottaa huomioon EU:n päätöksenteossa ja muissa EU:n aloitteissa.

Lasten osallistumisfoorumin työsuunnitelmassa on lisätietoa foorumin toimista, ehdotetuista määräajoista ja mukana olevista tahoista.
Asiakirjassa kerrotaan foorumin eri osallistumismuodoista ja menetelmistä, joiden avulla lapsia kuullaan ja heille tarjotaan oppimismahdollisuuksia.

Työsuunnitelman laatiminen on aina usean kuukauden urakka, johon osallistuu eri sukupolvien edustajia.
Mukana on foorumin lapsijäseniä, neuvoa-antavan ryhmän ja lapsipaneelin jäseniä, sihteeristön edustajia, asiantuntijoita ja yhteistyötahoja sekä Euroopan komission edustajia.
