EU Child Participation Documents

This document explains the purpose of the EU Children's Participation Platform.

The Work Plans explain how and where children's ideas shape the Platform's activities over a two-year period.

These documents include children's feedback on Integrated Child Protection Systems within the EU - and what children need to feel safe.

Children from across Europe told us how they would like to be included in democratic processes.

The EU Strategy on the Rights of the Child makes sure that every child in the European Union is safe, included, and heard, so they can grow up happy and protected.

We hold annual in-person meeting with children members to help us to review, scope and prioritise the Platform's work. 

The child-friendly welcome packs include essential information and materials to support children's active engagement and participation in our big in-person events. This includes the codes of conduct, safeguarding details and the agendas.
