Body

On 23 April 2024, the European Commission announced an important recommendation on how adults should work better together to keep children safe.

The EU wants to help everyone who takes care of children, like schools, governments, and groups in the community, to work together to protect all children from being hurt or harmed.

All generations together!

Lots of adults and organisations that work with children gave their opinions and suggestions through a special consultation on Integrated Child Protection Systems.

Over 1,000 children also gave input on what they think adults should be doing. This was done through the Platform’s online survey and discussions with children in their countries. The children’s input is reflected in the recommendation.
