On Safer Internet Day 2025, Eurochild, ECPAT International, and Terre des Hommes Netherlands, on behalf of the Down to Zero Alliance, published the VOICE Project Accessible Report, developed by the Eurochild Children's Council.

The VOICE Project listened to nearly 500 children and over 6000 caregivers in the debate around safety standards and policies in online environments. This was followed by the co-creation of advocacy messages with children from 15 countries across the world.

Empowering and amplifying children's voices

To ensure children’s voices remain central in discussions on digital safety, an accessible version of the VOICE Research was developed by the Eurochild Children's Council, to:

  • Make the findings accessible for both children and adults, especially those whose first language is not English.
  • Amplify children’s perspectives and bring the project’s messages to life in a way that is in tune with young people.
  • Empower children with a report that gives them a platform to speak directly to governments, online platforms, caregivers and their peers.
